Welcome Honeymooners!

My brother's best friend just got married last night and came to Maui for honeymoon.

Since they wanted to full experience Maui in 3 days ( yeah right!) I took them straight to the beach from the airport.

Keiko ( new bride) stood on the first wave and had a long ride and was super stoked. they both got so many waves and the whole scene was super mellow and peaceful.

They are going to have a nice dinner watching sunset at Hula Grill and tomorrow morning, bright and early, surfing again then standup , snorkel, up country tour, waterfall, etc etc. the list is endless , time limited.

I hope I can make their stay on Maui the very memorable one.

Surpise swell and wind

We didn't have wind for so many days that noone was really expecting the sailable condition, well at least I didn't know about it. As it turned out that waves came up a bit and we got tob kite Lanes.
It was onshore and hard to ride waves but we are lucky just to have something in late May.
3windsurfers came down to Lanes, it was Levi, Bernt, and Kai Lenny, they were all ripping, I got to see some latest movies that I didn't even know they exisited! they look so in tuned and one with the gear it was like an artform. I really enjoyed watching them.
Garden needs some TLC, gotta plant some more so I can eat the veggies.

Since I had to change the server for my japanese diary, I figured that maybe it is time for me to start the english version as well, it probably won't be as detailed but at least I can keep track of what i have done.

I got back on Maui from Baja trip about 3 days ago and it's been a process catching up with all the things I have dropped just to fly out and escape for 2 weeks. luckily, it's been no wind or waves so not much distraction.

I definately feel that summer is close . it is a lot warmer ( hotter?) than when I left maui 2 weeks ago.

Dinner last night with friends from Hokkaido, I introduced them to Baja fog , drink I recently learned how to make down in baja. your head gets foggy after couple of these for sure.
