I think the race inspired many people on Maui, lately many of the girls are interested in doing it.Today we had 2 first timers Mari and Tomoko , both real good surfers.
Since wind wasn't so strong , we started from Tavares , they did real good and we had a great time. We don't really get to hang out too much but I think they enjoyed getting away from the kids for a bit and had great fun excercise with girlsfriends.
The funny thing was when we were done, I went up to their car, they were already pulling up the tab of Coors light and eating crispy cream donuts (kana brought dozen of them!)Very well prepared , girls!
